It was an interesting article in Business Week called "Math Will Rock Your World." It talks about math begin everywhere. That math is having more and more applications to the world. By reading this article I realized that really no matter where you go math will be there to haunt you as mi mother says.

Neal Goldman's robotic librarian really interested me. It explained that it would skin to thousand of articles and how it used algorithms to analyze them and place them into different groups. I believe that was the best thing ever. That just with a little bit of a combination of Algebra and Geometry a robot can do that with thousand of articles in no time at all.

Math is in every aspect of our life. Since we wake up from our bed to the second we fall asleep. But all this glory wasn't really good because after reading the DARK SIDE I was a little disappointed. I mean I expected to be a downside to the article because nothing in life is "glory glory," but the fact that our person information is used in these algorithms. "Credit cards banks accounts. Everything is being analyzed 24/7 weather we like it or not. You would be amazed how much data is available." that really sort of made me upset because I like my privacy and the fact that what I spend my money on will be analyze. Does that mean that we would then be classified by what we buy with our well earned money. That idea didn't really sit with me well.

But then in the end when the PRIVATE LIVES segment came about I was eager to read what it said. And they addressed my fear of my intimate details of my personal life would be out and about. I am not saying that I am worried now about my intimate details being analyzed but the way this industry is going when I grow older the probability that it would be a problem is still there. But anyway when they explained there goal of creating a system that would share information with out pin pointing an individual relived me, because at least they are re trying to create a new road and they aren't just leaving such a vast problem without trying to find a solution.
