Imagine a world in which your only goal is survival, a world where you spend most of your day crawling through the mud and watching you friends die right next to you, a world in which you live in a state of constant fear. This is the world of the men who fought and died in WWI. The First World War was a horrifying place to be, especially if you were in one of the companies assigned to fight on the Western Front. These brave men stood and fought in abominable trenches watching their best friends die all about them from every angle and by every device of war.
