Friedrich Nietzsche once said that `God is dead' because he thought that science had gone so far that the idea of God could be dismissed. We have gone so far that even God's miracles like healing the sick can be achieved using science. Ancient philosophers like Thomas Aquinas and modern time popular culture still have the idea of God. Religious questions are nowadays answered by religious answers leading to a conclusion that God is still around and as active as ever.

The philosopher St Thomas Aquinas tried to prove that God exists by saying that there had to be a first cause for everything in the world because something could not come from nothing. He said that God was the first cause; he created everything in this world and caused other things to happen (like the big bang). He concluded saying that the universe proves God exists.
