A Woman in the Presidency
In James Poniewozik's essay "Hail to the She," in Time magazine last fall, he raises a very important question to today's society: what will the first female president of the United States be like? I believe the first female president of the United States will be a wife, a mother, a teacher, a chef, a doctor, a maid, a coach, AND a politician.
In a marriage, the husband is thought of to be the "head" of the household but many say the wife is the "neck" that turns that "head." I think the same idea applies to the first female president. She will be the "neck" of our country instead of the head. She would never force anything upon the American people. She will guide our people to making the right decisions, not just make them for us.
