What Two Individuals Were the Most Significant in Canadian History in the Twentieth Century?
Canada is one of the few countries, which has produced many great beings that
have contributed and given a lot to this country. People like John A. MacDonald, Emily
Murphy, Robert Borden, Wilfred Laurier, Wayne Gretzky, Terry Fox and Tommy
Douglas made Canada the Canada we know today and the Canada that is recognized all
around the world. But the two greatest Canadians I believe are two former Prime
Ministers - Lester B. Pearson and Pierre E. Trudeau.
Born October 18, 1919 in Montreal, Joseph Philippe Pierre Ives Elliott Trudeau
was the son of a Francophone father and Scottish mother. He travelled to France and
England for his education and returned to Canada and soon made his way through and
