Summary: A look at the process one undergoes when purchasing a car. This process includes determining what kind of car you want and can afford, which car to select, options for disposing of your old car, and the advantages and disadvantages of buying versus leasing a new car.
The video we watched in class today talked about how to buy a new car. Basically speaking, the buyer will have to go through the "decision stage" in order to successfully buy or lease a car. Preparing for a car is similar to that of a grocery list. You need to know ahead of time what you want and can afford. In terms of cars, the buyer should get their mind set on only one, or a few types of possible cars for purchase. The video then went on into describing the "choosing a car" phase. Choosing a car can be helpful based on consumer resource magazines like Consumer Report, Consumer Guide, internet car websites, personal preferences, and maybe even friends or relatives.
