Genetic engineering is the scientific alteration of the structure of genetic material in a living organism. Basically that means that genetic engineering is when scientist remove/insert a gene into a living organism. They remove/insert the gene from/into the human, animal, or plant to repair or change something in its DNA structure. Genetic engineering is capable of curing disease and even enhancing ones behavior. It also has its place in changing outward appearance. Therefore I agree with genetic engineering, it's a great tribute to our society and is not a waste of money.

Genetic engineering can fix medical conditions. If the disease is caused by a defective gene scientists then insert a new healthy gene in a virus-like organism.
