A large number of people all around the world live in poverty and can barely support themselves in today's world. A large number of people all around the world live in poverty and can barely support themselves in today's world. Acquiring a basic education is the best way to avoid a life of poverty and exploitation.

People without a formal education are much less likely to find a well-paying job, and are therefore more likely to live in poverty. The poverty rate of high school dropouts is three times higher than the poverty rate among high school graduates. In most places people know the value of an education, in Ontario for example, tuition fees for universities are around $5000, and this shows that people are willing to spend a lot of money to receive a full education.
