Social injustices exist throughout the world community. People are being exploited and treated unkindly in many different countries. A large number of people all around the world live in poverty and can barely support themselves in today's world. Acquiring a basic education is the best way to avoid a life of poverty and exploitation.

People without a formal education are much less likely to find a well-paying job, and are therefore more likely to live in poverty. The poverty rate of high school dropouts is three times higher than the poverty rate among high school graduates.
