Summary: From June through September of 1692, nineteen men and women, were convicted of witch craft and were sentence to death. These events took place in a small village name Salem, and it's described in Arthur Millers play, the crucible. 1959 was a year which the witch hunt repeated. It was just after the World War II and the idea of communism was being formed in other countries, and America was afraid. Joseph McCarthy told the world that he has lists of possible communist in America, and he started the witch hunt of the twentieth century.
