Founding Brothers Essay
Summary: The book Found Brothers, by Joseph J. Ellis illoustrates that if it weren’t for our Founding Brothers, American would not be as superior as it is today. The achievements after the revolution were collective, rather than for an individual gain. There were many intellectuals such as, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin, that achieved many things for America.
After the winning the battle of the American Revolution, America had another battle, the battle of survival. The survival of America was due to achievements after the revolution, removing the threatening issue of slavery off the agenda, and how the politicians worked together to build up America.
The achievements after the revolution were collective, rather than for an individual gain. There were many intellectuals such as, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin, that achieved many things for America. There is only one chapter that contained violence, chapter one: The Duel, but the remaining chapters showed how politicians used arguments instead of resorting to violence and death. In chapter two: The Dinner, Thomas Jefferson was able to create a successful dinner party with Madison and Hamilton, which resulted in a successful political discussion that solved many issues.
