Cell Phones Encourage Bullying
Summary: Cell phones encourage text bullying because it is easier than bullying person to person as it is more subtle than face to face bullying, it is difficult to track down the bully when they are bullying from cell phone and it can take longer for consequences to be taken.
Cell phones do encourage bullying because they are a more subtle way of insulting people, as emotions can not be seen through texting. It is more difficult to identify who the bullying is coming from since it is anonymous and anyone could be sending texts off anyone's phone. In most cases it can take longer for consequences to be taken because the receiptant thinks little of the malicious things said in the texts.
Bullying is much more subtle through texting. On the screen of a cell phone, emotions can not be seen during a text, so this makes text bullying a lot more subtle while insulting someone than it would be face to face.
