Plot Summary of "Rascal"

Summary: The story "Rascal" by Sterling North is about a boy named Sterling and his adventures with his pet raccoon, Rascal. The story show how people and animals can develop friendships.
The book Rascal is about a boy named Sterling and his pet raccoon Rascal, and their adventures together. In the beginning of the story, Sterling captures Rascal and brings him home to his house. As the story progressed, the more and more Rascal and Sterling became attached to each other. In the middle of the story, Rascal starts to cause some problems. Because of these problems, Sterling was forced to have Rascal put on a leash and when he's not on a leash, he is in a cage. In the end of the story, Racal started acting weird. Sterling found out that Rascal was acting weird because he wanted to be in the wild with the other raccoons. In the very last part of the story, Sterling brings Rascal to the spot where he was found and let him choose if he wanted to stay with him or...
