Cultural Analysis of France
When the Nazi's took over Paris, the Jewel of Europe, in World War II, they did not aim to destroy the city and its culture as they did with most of their conquests. Instead, the Germans hoped to make Paris the Jewel of the NAZI empire. That never happened; while the Germans succeeded in capturing French territory, they were never able to capture the hearts of the people and the essence of the French culture. Today, as we look to potentially capture profits and market share in this unique country, we must have a complete understanding of the French people, their language, customs, and culture.
