Shakespeare like all writers had many things occurring around him when he wrote his plays, poems, and sonnets. Things such as religious background, wars at the time, or even what friends and family are doing all have an impact on what the composer writes. These things can all be placed under different classifications. These classifications are Social, Political, Religion, and Military. Shakespeare was one of the best play writers ever so naturally he had to get his inspiration from somewhere. When looking at the context that influenced William Shakespeare it is plainly evident that according to the documentary on his life some of the biggest influences on his work were the things happening around him and the countries leaders at the time.
