Summary: Plot summary of the Margaret Clark's novel "Famous for Five Minutes," which is about a teen-ager named Peter Nutt who wants to become a rock star.
The book is about a teenager called Peter Nutt who eagerly wants to become a rock star. His family couldn't care less and he and his mates are doing the background music of the school play `Romeo and Juliet'. There's one catch, they have to add girls and they add too many of them forcing him to dress up as one. Changing into Peter's cousin Peta Nutt. He realises that girls have to go through so much more than boys and how they go through it. All is perfect until the last show; he loses his wig in front of everyone who is amazed how he went through with it (a bit annoyed with how he lied.
