"The Student" abd "At Least a Hundred Words" are two interesting poems written from students' perspectives. They are both similar in a way that the personas, who appears to be students, are not really fond of his studies. However, in "The Student," he somehow shows himself that he is guilty and knows that he actually needs to study but due to lack of determination and discipline, he procastinates in his work. The persona in "At Least a Hundred Words" is naturally playful and naughty. He, together with his friends, is always punished by Mr. Ray and apparently they have nothing good to say about themselves in their "letters home." These two poems bring up the subject of students' misbehaviours.
