Throughout time stories of successful people have been told. Throughout these stories one man has triumphed over another. The victorious man, as told in these stories is always the person who believes in themselves. In "His Excellency," a man dies because he truly believes in himself and retains his dignity In "You Are Now Entering the Human Heart," the teacher did not believe in herself and she lost of her dignity. All stories have adversity in them and are handled in different ways.

Bertoni is the protagonist from "His Excellency." He disguised himself as a general, to spy on the anti-fascist prisoners in order to obtain information for the Germans. In return he would be aloud to go free. Bertoni, completely believed in himself and soon everyone else did too. Everyone in the prison was so completely sure that he was general, that they all called him "His...
