The Falkland Islands War

Summary: The history of the battle for the Falkland Islands between Argentina and England in 1982. Also, some background about the Falkland Islands, which are off the southeast coast of Argentina.
Falkland is an island that is as big as New Jersey. It's right next to the South America. It was Spanish territory until 18th century, but when Argentina liberated from Spain, England, Spain, and Argentina wanted this small piece of island. Finally, in 1833, the strong Great Britain Empire forced the whole people except English out and took the island.

Falkland Island is 500 kilometers of the Argentine coast, and 13,000 kilometers from England.

The island is divided into 2 big islands: Eastern Falkland and Western Falkland and the other 200 small islands. Falkland's weather is very harsh. Strong winds and heavy rains continue for almost 200 days, and ground is full of rocks and grass. But what makes this smallisland so important is because of all those natural resources that is buried around the island, such as oil, natural gas, and is the base camp to the land of resource, The Antarctica.
