Responsible journalism involves investigating a story and giving real facts about current events to the general public. Most journalists are quite reliable other than a possible misquote here and there, but once in a while a bad apple slips through who wants nothing but fame and recognition and will stop at nothing to get it. Shattered Glass is the story of Stephen Glass, a young republican journalist writing for the Washington based magazine, the New Republic. Glass' stories are unique and magical and he becomes all the buzz in the world of journalism.
