I agree to a certain extent as the aged are citizens of the country and many had assist in sustaining Singapore as a 1st world county. Therefore they deserve to be appreciated and taken care by the government. However, it is impossible to help the aged if they, the community and their families do not support the government actions and assist in providing a comfortable environment for the ageing population.
