A Comparison of European Dictators
Summary: Throughout history, leaders have made a great impact on their countries and the world around them. Joseph Stalin, Benito Mussolini, and Adolph Hitler were three important yet cruel leaders who came to power in their respective nations during a time of depression, destruction, and detestation. These three leaders all assumed power very similarly, all did work to improve their countries, and all had different political points of view. All three also destroyed many people's lives and the way in which some people live to this day.
Throughout history, leaders have made a great impact on their countries and the world around them. During a time of depression, destruction, and detestation ruled three of the most well-known leader's in history. Joseph Stalin, Benito Mussolini, and the well known Adolph Hitler, were all important leaders. Stalin was a Russian dictator who ruled the Soviet Union between the years of 1927-1953. Mussolini ruled Italy around the same time reigning over the country from 1922-1943. Hitler was also in power at this time as the dictator of Germany between 1933 and 1945. All three men greatly impacted theirs countries. These three leaders all assumed power very similarly, and they also had many positive and negative aspects of their rule.
