Capitalism and the Permanent Underclass
Capitalism is economic system in which private individuals and business firms
carry on the production and exchange of goods and services through a complex network
of prices and markets. In America, capitalism is the most dominant idea of how the
economy should be run. In capitalism, people do things for themselves, and the
government doesn't have to say much or interfere with how things are run. But although
capitalism is the way of America, it doesn't mean that it is the best choice. There is still a
large underclass, and the number of unemployed in the workforce only seems to getting
greater and the people that are caught in it can't seem to get out.
