Suspense and Surprise in Artemis Fowl the Eternity Code by J.K. Rowling
This book report is on the book Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code. This is a book in which a kid mastermind, his butler/bodyguard, and there fairy friends get robbed of there new technology. This book is full of suspense and surprise twists. But this book starts out so simple.
It all started when a kid mastermind named, Artemis Fowl, wanted to sell a new device he made called the C Cube. He built it using his rivals/friends advanced fairy technology. He was selling it to a dangerous man named, Jon Spiro, who was in the killing stock market. Seeing this technology Spiro immediately wanted to buy this highly advanced item. But,Artemis, refused to take money or checks. He wanted fifty-five gold bars. When Spiro heard this he began to get loud so Artemis' butler, Butler, decided to stand up in a threatening way. So Spiro and his posse decided to attack them and steal the C Cube.
Luckily, Artemis, implanted a failsafe mechanism in his device and it sent a sonic boom everywhere. But Spiro and his right hand man were prepared they had ear plugs so their ears were unaffected. With this trick they decided to knock him unconscious and kidnap, Butler. Artemis knew there was only one way to save his butler. And that was to call his connections at L.E.P. Fairy Police. So after some hard negotiating he got his fairy friends to help. So fairies Holly, and Captain help Artemis to save, Butler. It took much things like Captain and Holly getting kidnaped also to save Butler. But after some quick thinking from Artemis the whole team was saved.
This is a great book that I would recommend to someone who likes suspense and action books. If the author came out with a fourth sequel I would purchase it. This concludes the book report on Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code.
