Misfit...yea, weird...sure, crazy...of course. All words that people in the book Tithe, by Holly Black, used to describe the main character, Kaye. Kaye was always moving and traveling with her mothers rock band, she never got a chance to make good impressions on anyone so everyone she met always thought of her to be weird. It made her feel like she never belonged in the human world, maybe because she had faeries as friends and no one believed her, or maybe it was because of the environment she'd grown up in and known all her life. She learns many things about herself and others. She goes through many different emotions in this book, and it shows personality traits you would have never guessed she had in the beginning of the book. One thing she learned is to always expect the unexpected.
