Abolishing Nuclear Energy in Our Society
Although nuclear power plants provide us with an abundant source of energy, its dangerous and unstable, it's not regulated and maintained up to the legal standards and has harmful effects on its surrounding environment. Nuclear energy is generated by a fusion reaction that takes place in the nucleus of either plutonium or uranium 232. Though it may not emit harmful Co2 gasses into our atmosphere, it releases radioactive waste into our oceans and environment. Powerplants are regulated every 18 - 30 months, this is not sufficient because even a hairline crack can spill toxins. If the dangers are considered, the disadvantages of nuclear power far outweigh the benefits.
