The rights of the Cree should be granted, but not to a point where the stability of the government and nation is compromised. The Cree claim ownership of former lands as well as self-governing right. They want to be free from the "white man" however present government is merely trying to establish the land according to modern times. The government is trying to use this land for good where all peoples residing in it can take advantage of the benefits it offers, i.e. protection, wealth, and peace.
The Cree should be recognized as a culture and should be granted all privileges there of, however, they should not view the actions of the government as hateful or repressive.
