When one looks at France after Napoleon's reign, it is very clear that he brought order and stability to a country that so desperately needed it. The French Revolution had decreased in speed, and all gains from the revolution were in danger of being lost. Napoleon consolidated and solidified the gains of the revolution, and spread the ideals throughout Europe, ensuring that not only French people, but also everyone experienced the revolution's rights and freedoms. Napoleon Bonaparte came to power, rescuing the revolution from the brink of obscurity, becoming the saviour of the revolution.
