Human Rights
Summary: Examines Human Rights violations which have taken place over the past few years. Focuses on India, Darfu and Afganistan. Provides statistical data from the World Health Organization.
The basic human rights of specific groups in some nations have been denied. Those human
rights were violated officially through governmental policies or by nation's traditions. Three
of ethnicities that suffered human rights violations were Untouchable in India, Darfu in
Africa, and women in Afghanistan. They all were suffering, while trying to solve their
problems, trying to bring about better life!
In India there are more than 160 million people, who are considered as "Untouchable", and those people are considered beings lower than humans. Untouchables consist mostly of 95 percent of poor Indians and 90 percent of illiterate Indians. Also "Untouchable" are also called Dalits. They are not allowed to drink from same wells or cups, attend same temples. Also Dalits are not allowed to wear shoes in presence of an upper class person. Untouchables are given the lowest jobs in the society, they are doing jobs that regular person would...
