Water is a unique substance, one of great importance to every human. It is essential for survival, not just for humans, but also for the entire ecosystem, which we call home. It's a severely limited resource with no substitute. In recent years, private ownership has turned water services into profit, depriving humans of water across the globe. The environment has also suffered at the hands of the corporations as overuse and the constant pursuit for profit has caused many water sources to dry up. Too much harm is caused when local control of water is given up, which is why the water systems around the world should not be open to the free market.
