Correlations between the Mexican-american War and Civil War
Summary: The Mexican-American and Civil War were two events in history which shared some sort of correlation; in the Mexican-American War, Americans had unknowingly prepared themselves for the infamous Civil War both socially and militaristically.
There are many events that occur in society which prepare us for future occurrences. Sometimes we do not even know that these preparations have taken place until some unknown period after their happening. Situations like this have been prevalent in American history and sufficient evidence of their existence can be shown to any doubtful individual.
