Sacrifices for Achievements
During the 1950's my grandfather, Fidencio Sanchez Lopez, migrated into the United States in look of financial capital. My grandfather comes from a ranch located in the Sierras of Mexico. Coming into United States meant a change of life for my grandfather completely. He sacrificed leaving behind what was most valuable to him, his wife and three sons but only for a temperate time. All for the best of finding of a job that would pay off debts and simply survival for his family. With all good intentions, and hard working, he made a few accomplishments. He became a working labor and legally worked in the field of the U.S., when he migrated through El Paso, Texas. After his noble accomplishments, Fidencio Sanchez Lopez, decided it was time to head back south, and he did.
Around the late 1970's Jorge Sanchez Cazares migrated into the United States in search of work for financial capital just like his father Fidencio Sanchez Lopez. He learned that money was available in the U.S. but it would take a lot of hard work and sacrifices. Jorge Sanchez C. found himself lost in the advance life of the U.S.. Soon, with help of his older brother, he began working in construction, Day, after day, after day of hard work, became an eternity. What made it worse, was to think all the family and friends that he had left behind including both his parents. Eventually after a few years of hard work he returned to his home land to catch up on his left behind life.
Approximately around 1985, Jorge Sanchez Cazares decided was an extreme obstacle for him and his delighted wife Carmen Sanchez Samudio, and their baby boy Jorge Sanchez Jr.. In 1986 Jorge Sanchez C. returned to the United States working life to once again work. This time he decided to bring his new family along for the journey.
Now, Jorge Sanchez Jr. has had many opportunities that for many immigrants it is hard to obtain. For example, Permanent Residency, School benefits, as well as different job opportunities. In all, everything has come from years of hard work and struggles, made to obtain and achieve goals. Goals that perhaps one day pay off to the Sanchez family.
