How does the Internet operate? Many people use it everyday but few know how the Internet works. The Internet first started with the military, which wanted to have a communication network that would survive a nuclear attack. So they developed the idea of the Internet, which then (in 1969) was called ARPANET. The Internet (or ARPANET) grew bigger and bigger and now results to the Internet that we have today.
