For the past few years, as the Jews seek to ensure their future, in Israel or in the Diaspora, there has been great emphasis on the study of Jewish education. However, some people ask themselves, "Is Jewish education really necessary in life"" I have noticed that the importance of Jewish education is rather evident.
The Jewish people have existed for thousands of years, and in order for us to continue our existence as Jews, we must learn about our history. Our history helps us understand occurrences that happened in the past and caused different events such as wars between Jews, the destruction of the Holy Temple, the Spanish Inquisition, the Holocaust, and the establishment of the State of Israel.
