Summary: For over twenty years, the GAP (God Always Provides) food bank has provided low-income families in Southern California with food donated from local grocery stores. A non-profit organization, GAP feeds approximately 350 families per week, with the help of more than forty volunteers. Helping GAP do its work will enable the community to serve more people.

GAP (God Always Provides) food bank is an organization that gives donated food away to low-income families who are deserving and need to spend their money on different things such as bills. The problem that my agency was attempting to solve was to assist families in time of need. Many other communities try and solve the problem by having food banks just like the one I went to. GAP has a very huge history of there past; they have been serving people for over 20 years. God Always Provides is a non- profit organization that gets their help from many different grocery stores that are local.
