Good Old Books Verses Bad New Televisions
Summary: Contrary to what parents may think, television is not only more entertaining than books, but it is also more educational and more useful in our daily lives. Television pictures are more understandable than the words of a book; television can serve as a more effective study guide than books, particularly through educational channels such as the History Channel and the Discovery Channel; and television provides prompt delivery of important information on the day's events than books ever could. In short, television provides us with any kind of information or entertainment we may choose to utilize.
Why do all the parents in the world tell their children to read books and not to watch T.V? That's one of the unsolved mysteries in the world today. Really why do they? Maybe it is because T.V is a "fool's box"; it only gives viewers amusing but unimportant programs, shows, news, ideas and such. However one should ask one's parents, why they intend their children not to watch it when the parents do? That makes no definitive sense. Well, I, the writer say T.V is not inadequate. T.V is certainly more entertaining than books; sometimes more educative, and more useful in daily lives, proving itself superior to books.
No offence to the writers and authors, but T.V is just more entertaining than books. Books, novels, picture books, and fictions only give details, images and imaginations, which do not match the color, motion...
