Water
Summary: Water has no equal in terms of a life essential; all living things on Earth need it in order to survive. In addition to preventing dehydration, humans need water for such things as bathing, cleaning, cooking, gardening, generating electricity, and more. Water also plays an important role in nature through erosion and reshaping of the land.
All humans need water. Not just humans need it; all living things such as plants need it as well. A basic thing we need water for is to stay alive and to prevent dehydration. We also use it for showering, bathing, swimming, washing dishes, washing hands; faces, brushing teeth, watering flowers; gardens; lawns, laundry washing, cooking, flushing toilets and other things. Water is important on dry land as well as in aquatic. It's obviously clear why it's needed on dry land and it isn't just needed in aquatic life just because of the animals. It's needed there because of plants such as seaweed. Seaweeds mostly contain water. There are a lot of living things squirming underwater and they have the need for H2O.
