Giuseppe Arcimboldo was known for his bizarre drawings. He drew drawings of men that are made of fruits, animals, vegetables and books. He also made drawings of women. Many know the drawing Vertumnus. Which is a drawing of a man, made up of vegetables looking forward. Giuseppe Arcimboldo was born in 1527. One was sure what his real name was but many believed it was Josephus, Joseph or Josepho Arcimboldi or Arcimboldus. So "historians" called him Giuseppe Arcimboldo. He was an artist at the age of 22; he worked with his father as designing stained glass windows. He continued his work when his father died in 1558. In the next few years he was hired as a court painter. He moved to Vienna, where he worked as a court painter for Emperor Ferdinand. That is where he drew his famous pictures called four seasons.
