The most powerful country in the world is without a doubt, the United States of America (USA or the US). By coming into to power in the 20th century due to its advanced technology and prosperous economy, the US has steadily gained the influence in the world it holds today owing to four main reasons: Language, Culture, Natural Resources and Politics.

At the current time, English is the most wide spread language in the world. In the twentieth century American films, television, music and the Internet, played a major part in continuing to spread the language that was originally started by the British Empire in the nineteenth century.
