Have you ever wondered why kids join gangs? Well kids join gangs because their friends put peer pressure on them. Kids want to be just like their friends, so if their friends are joining gangs, then they will join a gang. Song lyrics, movies, and music videos encourage gangs. Most gangs consist of guys, some are mixed, and some have all girls. White kids, in gangs, are usually the ones with the most problems in their life. And they are probably the ones that get into the most trouble. In the last twenty years, gangs have increased greatly in number. Over all peer pressure is the biggest reason why kids join gangs.
