Bush's New Social Security Policy Flawed

Summary: President Bush's plan presented in his 2005 State of the Union Address about privatizing Social Security is full of many questionable statements.
At first glance, the President's proposal for a reform in Social Security looks amazingly reasonable. The decaying system, under President Bush's new proposal, will be strengthened and solved by the privatization of the Social Security accounts for tax paying Americans ages 55 and under. More money will be offered for those who invest in there own private accounts then the original Social Security account because the old system is flawed and will go bankrupt in the year 2048.

Does it sound too good to be true? That's because it is. President Bush's plan presented in his 2005 State of the Union Address about privatizing Social Security is full of many questionable statements. The American citizen has to read between the lines before he or she actually buys into a policy like this one presented by Mr. Bush.
