The Draft: Modern Day Slavery
There are always wars going on in the world. America has had a good number itself, and it does not look like this will slow down any, as seen in the current war on Iraq. In the past, wars have been fought with a volunteer army. Sometimes, though, as is feared might happen soon, the government will implicate a draft if more people are needed. The draft forces people to do something they do not believe in, or just simply do not want to do. This is even worse if the war that the people are being drafted for is not fully supported. These such circumstances came up in a large way during the Vietnam War.
