The Thesis of the movie is that there are more deaths related to domestic violence in the USA than in any other country in the world and that the US government is responsible for a lot of what happened. Though the movie seems to have had quite an impact on people with its style and shock-value, I for one feel that the movie is too socialistic for my tastes and only seems to show how government is doing bad all round. You have to take into consideration the pressures of being an administration that has to deal with an event like 9/11, it's not enough to just condone and give assurances that the act will never happen again to help maintain some stability.
