Docdo which consists of two tiny rocky islets surrounded by 33smaller rocks is tiny island. The Docdo are located about 215 kilometers off the eastern border of Korea. The approximate total surface area of Dokdo is 0.186 square kilometers. Dokdo have become enormous issue between Korean and Japanese government because the Japanese government in recent weeks has stepped up claims of sovereigns over the Korea, and they has been trying to guide schools in teaching how Dokdo belongs to Japan. In addition, the Japanese Shimane Prefecture has designed February 22 as "Takeshima day." Japanese say the island is Takesima. Korea government considers it as infringement..
