War is what made Canada what it is today. Without the war Canada wouldn't of distinguished the qualities that they realized during the war and after the war. The war is what made Canada realize that Canada can live alone and that it can survive without the help of other countries. The war impacted on Canada in many ways: moving away from Britain, getting closer with the US and the war changed Canada economically.
