For years many countries through the world have been ruled by the Church. In Puerto Rico the Church isn't present at all, when decisions are made. We have a separion between the Legislation and the Church. Our society has many ways of thinking that there is a big controversy about the fact that the Church and the State are apart. Therefore is the individual's own opinion what makes the theme a controversy.

The U.S. Constitution also establishes a separation between the Church and the State. The government pleads that the Church and the State have different interests, functions, and purposes. And they should be separated.

But the real question is if is whether good or bad? The separation should make things easier for everybody. It lets the State work in its own way their issues and lets the Church do the same. That is better because everyone...
