Book Review of "I have Lived a Thousand Years"

Summary: Review of themes in a book about life in Nazi Germany called "I have Lived a Thousand Years" by Livia Bitton Jackson.
Elli Friedman is a Jewish girl who is born in Germany. Her family is captured by the Nazi Demolition when Adolf Hitler was dictator. She and her family face problems of being inhumanly treated by the SS guards, near death experiences with starvation and dehydration. She and her family live in constant fear of being executed, being sent to a gas chamber, being sent away to a different camp without her family member, never seeing her family again, getting sick, not getting enough food or water, never seeing her family again, being split apart from her family, and death.
