Japanese Values vs. American Values
The culture of Japan and the culture of the United States each hold a very different set of values. In most cases, the things that Japanese people hold in the highest esteem are ignored by Americans, and the things that Americans consider important are not important to the Japanese. In an essence, the two cultures of Japan and the United States are usually complete opposites. Although there are many wonderful things about America and the American culture, there are aspects of the Japanese culture which Americans should learn to stress a bit more. Perhaps if America would adopt some Japanese values, this country would become a better place.
