The period of Romantic poetry drew inspiration from nature at a time of industrialisation. In their poems, John Keats and Percy Shelley, value the importance of natural beauty, self-expression and spontaneity. "To Autumn" is a seasonal depiction of abundance and fertility and "To a Skylark" glorifies the song of the bird.
