Buddhism arose in India- it isn't really a religion or a belief-but a teaching. It avoids theology and is based on the experiment of all things, both natural and spiritual. This teaching focuses on reaching `Nirvana' - a state of enlightenment. Buddhists are taught that with the correct steps they will find the path of enlightenment. Their ethical and moral teachings help them travel the correct path and impact a lot on their relationships with others and their identity.
