Summary: The Pilgrims who settled America, Martin Luther King Jr. and the coalition forces in Iraq demonstrate that dreams can become realities. However the cost of pursuing dreams can be high and, contrary to what people think, pursuing dreams is never easy. through hard work and determination.
The Pilgrims who founded our country had a dream. They escaped religious persecution in order to establish a place in which freedom would be a right not a privilege. They were brave men and women who made their dreams a reality. By them accomplishing this feat, we are much better off today. Martin Luther King had a dream. He pursued this dream through all the hard times and became a major part of the reconstruction of the way of life in America. Through all of his hard work racial equality became a reality. The men and women fighting in Iraq have a dream. They are ready to risk their own lives for this dream and the betterment of our nation.
